N2 - SVD Modem Racing?

by Chris Squie » Tue, 27 Jan 1998 04:00:00

Has anyone been able to set up a modem game with voice over?  My friend and
I both have ASVD modems with Rockwell chipsets, but we haven't been able to
get the voice connection to work.  Haven't been able to find info on this
anywhere...

TIA,
Chris

Hi,

For what it's worth a friend and I play Nascar 2 and Indy Car Racing 2
with US Robotics DSVD modems, When it works ( it seems to most of the
time) it's great, we usally connect at 24000 to 26000 bps if we
connect at anything less than 19,200 SVD doesn't work. Game play is
good with little or no delay.
