I hope gp3 would be much better than f12000..

that won't be very easy, considering F12000 is such a quality product. I
hope they can get the same kind of AI into GP3. Incredible realism.

F12K a quality product ?????

Surely it must not be the same F12K which doesn't work in FF, has crappy
AI, no support from the editor and doesn't work with TNT2 cards unless you
patch them like hell....

Is there another F12K ?

Works perfectly well for most people.

Excellent AI on the 1.06 patch.

Just a question of using the latest TNT2 drivers - pretty standard practice
I would suggest.

Keep trying!

Isn't r.a.s. just the most knowlegable collection of sim experts anywhere on
the planet? Next time someone here tells me I'm an idiot, I'll be thankful.

You obviously haven't been following the hundreds of very active previous
threads on F12K!!

You're easily pleased then... that being said virtually no developer seems
to have noticed the standard for simracing games was raised a notch or two
when GPL was released.

If it was GP2 with 3dfx (ie no slomo) and FF support, I'd be very happy.

Not really, I made my mind up about F1 2K and enjoyed it as a diversion so
far. I should have paid some more attention, because I haven't yet tried
racing the AI in v1.06... thanks for the info.

But, the basic predicament remains... I don't have time to read all posts on
RAS. I certainly don't have time to browse older threads, so would you mind,
briefly, explaining DGF's reaction?

You'll have to ask Greg, but I guess that he is being sarcastic to the
extreme as a reaction to the rather silly comments on this thread bearing in
mind that he (and I) have been staunch supporters of F12K throughout some
ill-informed arguments on RAS.  (There have also been some informed debates
as well. Just thought I'd say that before anyone starts a flame!)
