<<I was wondering. What do the pedals on the T2 feel like? Are
they semi realistic?>>
I like to think so. Actually, the steering wheel on the T2 feels a
little tighter and more accurate that the T1. Also, the T2's wheel is
padded and much more comfortable.
<<Is the brake tighter than the gas? Does the brake get tighter
the further you push down?>>
No to both of those, however the pedal feel is better than the T1.
The T1 features rollers whereas the T2 has actual, flat pedals.
<<And the shifter, how does it work. Does it move all over the
place, or just side to side? You can program it so you can have upshift
and downshift either way, right?>>
The shifter is sequential, similar to an IndyCar. It's "throw" is a
little shorter than the T1, probably because the stick itself is
shorter. You can set the game controls to work either way, but I prefer
to set it where an upshift requires a push forward and a downshift
requires a pull back.
<<Can the original steering wheel be removed fairly easily so I can
put a real one on there?>>
Don't think so... interesting project, though. Set one up with the
gear shifter on the wheel like an F1 car <bg>. You could also have one
with an airbag for those... ahem... unfortunate moments 8 )
