T2 OWNERS--Add Wheel Shifter Buttons!

by Walt Otten » Sat, 15 Jun 1996 04:00:00

On the suggestion of a visitor to my website, I investigated what it
would take for all you T2 owners to gear up for GP2 and add wheel
mounted shifter buttons.  Well, it took about 30 minutes to do (and
that included the R&D!) .  A VERY easy modification to do and well
worth it if you want real F1 shifter action.  Go to Wally'sWorld at
http://www.racesimcentral.net/~wottenad/wheel2.htm - FAQ section to get a step by
step walkthrough. All that's required is a phillips screwdriver and
two pushbutton switches. I've included all wiring colors so no other
equipment is needed. I will add photos hopefully by Saturday
afternoon... Check it out!

An addendum..you really need a little more than that:

a) An RCA speaker wire
b) Something to mount the switches with
c) A drill if you are going to are using the mounting***holes for
their intended purpose.

Anyway, I can't wait to do the mod on my T2.
