How many laps is it reasonable to expect to get before the RF tire goes red?
The AI cars sure seem to be able to go a lot farther than I can.  How many laps
do some of you get?  If you get over 30, how?

I haven't made it that far yet..lol.   Car seems to pick up a bad push 15 or
20 laps in.  Tried a posted setup and got the same result.   The AI is alot
of fun, no more bumping them out of the way anymore.  Guess I need to hang
back a bit longer, but starting in the back is a bear even at 92 percent.

Qualifying setup with 35% grill tape and race engine... I can go till I run
out of gas and the RF only goes yellow.

Yah, the AI is actually a worthwhile competitor now!

In N3, I never used to qual.  I'd just advance the session right to race,
and start at the back of the pack.

This is NOT a good idea with N4 if you have the AI set to 95 or above.  You
will get your ***kicked :)

I just did 50 laps, using qualifying setup with racing engine and 70% tape. I
ran out of gas on lap 51. This is a very good setup.  You should be able to
cruise along at 186.5 mph. My RF did not turn yellow, until lap 44 or so.

Do you still use a 32:1 steering lock? I am asking because  I find, nice
tight steering with my FF at 12:1 but I can run 32:1 but rather run 12:1
or no higher then 20:1.. Any Suggestions? Tia..   Thom_j.

I have not messed with that yet. I have Act Labs FF. The only thing I did with
steering, is that I set it to 100% linear.

Thanx for the re:!!! I also set mine to a 100% linear! Try the 12:1- 20:1
on Daytona with 70% tape on a quailify setup. Imho it feels great in the
turns & straights, etc...

Is that with a FF wheel or a regular (spring/bungee) wheel?

MS FF Wheel...100% Linear...about 18:1..sometimes 16:1 depending on the
weather.  If it's breazy crank up the ratio.
