consumption in their NASCAR games?? NASCAR Heat has it and it is great
because I can finally run a race with required pit stops without driving
forever. In NASCAR Racing 1 you could actually reduce the fuel load, but
not since....

Seriously though, I don't know if there is a reason why, yes I know Heat had
it in it, I personally never used it myself, I wanted real time tire wear
and fuel usuage, rather than an exagerated one. I can say I haven't seen
many people ask for it in the forums.

track_tire_heat = 0.95
track_tire_wear = 1.12 ;> 1.0 means more
wear, i.e. 2.0 is twice normal wear, 0.5 is half normal wear
track_asphalt_grip = 0.98 ;> 1.0 means more
grip. This shouldn't have to change by more than +- 0.05
track_concrete_grip = 1.00 ;> means more grip.
Again, keep between about 0.9 and 1.05
track_north_angle = 280 ; angle of true north
in degrees

I mean it's not like it takes forever until you pit. 22gallons are pretty
fast over when your racing seriously.

I have a terrible memory. In fact my memory's so bad I can't remember how
long it's been since I've forgotten anything.

Rant On
Don't mind me, but I think this is a common problem in a lot of games
today. Developers should realize that not everyone has hours of uninterrupted
game time on a regular basis. I really enjoyed Diablo II, but realized ,that
for me, it was only worth playing when I had 1-2 hours of time set aside. A
quick 15-20 minute session got me nowhere. Racing is a little different,
because you can always practice 10-20 laps, but it would be nice to be able to
compress a race down to an hour or so, and still require fuel and tire
management.
