You see, the "Rising Sun" graphic has not been used to signify Japan or
anything Japanese since the end of World War 2. It is almost akin to using
the swastika to signify something German.

However, it is still (as it has always been) classified as a _military_ flag
and is used solely by the Naval arm of the Self Defence Force.
Therefore it really is inappropriate to use it as a either a background in
GPL or as a pointer to the fact that the Honda Motor Company is Japanese.
(A more appropriate analogy than my previous one would be using the current
German Luftwaffe "Iron Cross" as an emblem for the McLaren-Mercedes, for
instance!)
