rec.autos.simulators

Hi-
Whenever I try to start GPL, I get to the main screen, then after I calibrate
my controls and hit ok, the game locks up and my Win95 Icons show through the
GPL screen.
Has anyone else had this problem?  
If so how did you fix it?  Any suggestions?

Glad to know I'm not the only one. Wish I knew what to do. Here is a hint
though, deleting the demo and stomping around the house cussing didn't make it
work either :-)
