F1 2000 - Initial observations/gripes

Hi,

I have just got this game and my initial reaction is good graphics
but:

1. I can't find a way to get the Pit Request set on my LWFF Wheel,
I've tried mapping it in the profiler but this does not work.

2. The tracks look narrow

Can anyone help with correcting these problems?

Thanks

Having watched the Silverstone race on Sunday, I think the track is narrower
than real life from the on-board cameras.

However, this is good, noone says passing in F1 is easy.  The AI is pretty
aggressive, so don't go for it unless you know there is space.  They are not
as nice as in MGPR2.  I don't like when they bump into me though...

I just can't believe that you can't save the damn game at any point ...

Championships get saved. Copy the career.bch file, then if you*** up the
race, then restore the original file.  Not very satisfactory I know, but
it's about the best you can do.  You can't save a race in GPL either.

Try game commander instead. You can "talk" to your crew :-)
