Is there any trick to getting the AL GPL Shifter to work with a Logitech
Momo wheel in N2002?
Can't get it to assign to the shifts.  I'm running on XP and using the
Wingman Profiler.

Seems the issue is with my Belkin Nostromo Pad.  When both it and the
shifter are connected the Shifter doesn't seem to get picked up in N2002.
Not sure if this is a limitation with N2002, the Nostromo, or the AL
shifter.
If anyone has managed to get these working together I'd love to hear.

Use keyboard commands for each gear then map the shifter to the keyboard
commands.

How do you do that exactly?

How can you map the keys to a specific gear?  What software do you use to do
this?  The AL utility only seems to map to shift up and down when using the
generic driver.

I have this combo and it works without problems.

I don't run the shifter utility - Nascar picks it up just fine.

I believe the issue is with the Belkin Nostromo pad I also have connected.
If I remove it then the shifter works fine but with it I cannot get the
shifter to map in N2002.

I have an LWFF (USB), not a Momo, and I use it in conjunction with TSW peds
(gameport).

I can't get my shifter working in NR2002 either.  IIRC, I was able to get it
to shift, but then my pedals didn't work correctly.  Same problem in N4.
FWIW, LWFF is on ID1, Shifter on ID2, and TSW Peds on ID3.  This
configuration works fine in GPL and in Rally Trophy.  The shifter works fine
in Hascar Heat as well, but I have to use the LWFF peds with that sim.

NR2002 picks up my shifter without activating the Shifter utility, as well.
The problem in my case is that when in gear, stepping on the gas just gives a
very mild jump in revs, but no forward movement.  It's as if full brakes are
applied.  If in neutral, stepping on the gas produces revs as expected.  The
problem only appears when I'm in gear.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
