So I just got the GPL converter...it looks good but i couldn't try it
because i don't have ANY nascar game to get the tracks from.
So here is my question : Do i need the complete game to have be able to make
gpl tracks or just the track files ? Where can I get them, is there
somewhere a site where I can DL the original tracks, frankly I don't reaaly
like nasacr games so i feel not too e***d about buying some of these games
just to get the gpl tracks.

The ICR2 demo includes Detroit, which you can enhance with Alison
Hine's 3D kits and then convert with the full conveter (untested, as I
don't have the full converter). It also includes Michigan, which
cannot be converted.
The NASCAR 3 demo includes Texas, which you can convert with the
oval2gpl converter. It also includes Loudon, but the demo converter
can't use it, for some reason.
I don't remember what's in the NASCAR Legends demo, but I don't think
they can be converted.

for, so DL a 20 Megs+ demo to get 1 track....
If you could send me some tracks it would be nice.

The new tracks are worth the price of the games, even if that is all one uses
them for. However, I have to wonder whether Louis bought the converter, since
he is so concerned about price. If he has a pirated version, cooperation is not
in order. Just my opinion.

You won't find many people keen to do this. The whole point is to convert
tracks you own, not tracks you've "borrowed".
The converter works, don't worry about that. You can safely buy ICR2, N2/3
etc. and enjoy the new tracks for GPL. Of course if you keep asking for
free tracks you'll open yourself up to the criticism that you're
"borrowed" the converter as well :->
