Anyone have this problem with Nascar Racing?

When you qualify, you end up with say an average speed of 188.63 mph
Everyone else is slower than you, BUT THEY END UP AHEAD AT THE POLE!
I ran faster than everyone and still started last. I think it only
happens in talladega, but I'm not sure.

If you know whats up, e-mail me, thanks!

version 1.0 qualifies the opponents at 100% opponent strength
regardless of where you have it set at.   They will race normally for
you, however.   To fix this problem, download the 1.1, 1.2 or 1.21
patch.

1) Make sure you attempt _TWO_ qualifying laps.  (Go hard until you see
the checkered flag, best out of the two is used.)

2) Pit after you're done.

You have to run 2 qualify laps at Taladega.  When you cross finish
line and your lap speed is posted if you notice up top you'll see
the white flag waiving, run one more until you see the checkered
flag.

You have to run TWO laps to qualify at Taladega.  After the first lap you will
get a white flag, indicating you have one more lap to go.  After running the
second qualifying lap, you will then get a pole position that is
representative of the average of the two laps.

At taladega you need to run two qualifing laps.  Watch the flags,
qualifing isnt over until you get a checkered flag!
