VROC ADSL Help

With an ADSL connection, how does one connect to VROC ?

My IP address and ADSL are displayed properly on the Races to join
page. I can join any race and VROC opens GPL properly to the
Multiplayer option.

When I enter the Multiplayer setup screen with the Join box checked,
the only options I get in the Connect Via drop down list are modem,
Serial Com 1, and Serial Com 2.  There is NOT a Connect Via LAN, ADSL,
Cable, etc option.  I've tried both Com1 and Com2 and both of them
result in a closed connection status when attempting to connect.   I
receive the IP address of the host for the race I've joined but do not
have a correct "Connect Via" option for ADSL.

The FAQ says, "Select the IP address for your dialup connection from
the Connect Via drop down list." but I do not see this option either.

I have entered all the correct information on the VROC setup page and
tried both the IP address override with my correct IP address and
leaving it blank.

Do I need to change anything else to have a Connect Via 'ADSL' option
?

Any suggestions ?

You need the following lines in the core.ini file in your GPL folder.

[ Communications ]
alternate_ip_addr_lookup = 1

% With an ADSL connection, how does one connect to VROC ?
