Can anyone tell me if there is a good sim with the Mount Panorama
circuit? Perhaps an Australian Touring Car program is out there
somewhere. Thanks.

Hi Gerhard,

There is a Mt Panorama sim released in Australia, it is called
"Touring Car Champions". It was designed by an Australian company and
as much as I hate to say it, all reports are that it is attrocious. I
have not actually seen it running but the pictures on the box are
enought to send you running from the shop. I am sure someone in the
group will have spent the $$$ and will be able to provide a more
concise evaluation.

See Ya

Yep......it's total garbage. That's about as concisive as I can get after
testing this product for a local outlet.  Please, in the name of all that
you hold sacred, SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

Well sorry, but it won't be me. When you walk into a games shop and
ask about a product and the man who's job is to sell games tells you
it's a load of crap, you give it a big miss. Great Pity.
While on the subject, I remember reading rave previews about it in a
premier Aussie games mag. There was never a review. Nuff said.

there is a sim available here in Australia called touring car championships
(no relation to TOCA) which features the mount panorama, which is more
commonly known as Bathurst, circuit. The version I have seen only has one
track (Bathurst) but I can remember reading in an Australian mag that this
was a pre release to the actual game which would have all circuits from the
Australian calender. I have never seen this. I have not played the game but
seem to remember that the track was FMV with cars that floated around it so
it does not sound promising. It is also more than a year old now IIRC.

Brilliant. Hope CART turns out well just for this reason!
