Anyone tried this out?  I have a spare Sidewinder wheel and the
gamepad just isn't cutting it in Thunder 2003.

Are there any non-FF wheels you'd recommend for the Xbox Steve?  I
can't seem to find much in the shops out here, just a few Mad Catz
wheels which in my experience (at least with the Dreamcast) aren't any
better than a gamepad.

Haven't tried it yet, but the Mad Catz wheel seems to be the one most
people recommend for the Xbox.

I have the Thrustmaster Nascar wheel for the xbox and it is a plastic
"piece", that's why a usb connection would be wonderful if it would work
with the TSW2. Unfortunately, I take it that it will not ...

Jason,

I don't know of any.  The TM is awful.  I've never had much respect for MC
products.  Maybe Thomas or BRD could be persuaded.

Bleh.

It's sad that Microsoft hasn't released a version of the Precision
wheel that works with their own *** console.

To me, it's bizarre that Microsoft, which pioneered USB, doesn't offer USB
with the Xbox.  Sony, OTOH, which always goes its own way with proprietary
*everything* (you can't buy generic AA cells; it's gotta be a Sony-brand
battery) has incorporated USB into the PS2, so you can use almost anybody's
FF wheel.  (See my upcoming Motor Trend piece for more rant...if they don't
cut it.)
