GPL with TNT or ATI Fury, new drivers, better FPS?

Did new drivers solve the mirror problem with GPL and made it playable on
let's say K6-2 300. Anyone with ATI Fury tried GPL with OpenGL patch. I have
Hercules Thriller 8mb PCI ( the one with NEC memory that keeps crashing )
and I'm looking for a better 2D/3D combo for GPL and maybe other F1 and
racing sims that are due to come.

nVidia hasn't released any new drivers since 0.48, the version that was
out when the GPL OpenGL patch was released.  OpenGL GPL is still far
from ideal on the TNT due to the mirror problem and general trouble
at resolutions above 640x480.

I don't think the Fury is actually out yet.

From the ship dates I've seen, it looks like Jan 20th.

1. GPL - V3 2000 better fps than TNT?

2. Riva TNT & GPL, Pitiful FPS... HELP PLEASE!!!

3. GPL with new TNT drivers

4. GP2: 25 fps is *much* better than 15 fps

5. GPL is it better on Vodoo 12meg or TNT 16 meg card

6. GPL and TNT with Hercules drivers.
