The cars.
If I could have SCGT's car selection with GPL's physics, I'd be
elated.

"You have still much to learn my young Padawan"  ;-)

Go in your X:\SIERRA\gpl\players\Player_name\player.ini
Go to this line below :

[ Personal Information ]
drivingView = 1                          ; driving view

Change the driving view to a number.  I think you can go up to 15 or 16.
Now save and launch GPL into a race.  You will see you will have a new
camera setting for driving.  The only problem is that if you ever press F10
to change view you will go back to the original in-car***pit after.  But
it works :)

Fantastic!

Thanks for all your help!

I can see how these views are going to chip a few seconds off my lap
times...

I wonder why they didn't include more views in the full version, and
if we will have easier access to them in a future patch?

Not before you get flamed for posting in HTML.

Why on Earth you are so resentful to stick to etiquette, I don't know.

It would also make way for some great endurance races once we get the
Prototype cars ready :-)....

Imagine the 1000km's at Spa, Monza, Brands and the Nurburgring...:-)

  In order of importance

1/ All API support - i.e. D3D
2/ Racing in F2 and F3 modes
3/ AI slider
4/ A thinned down (lower bandwidth) online capability for the net
5/ Pitting

What would you change in GPL?

by Bruce Kennewel » Sun, 20 Jun 1999 04:00:00

You forgot "Clarks".
The apostrophe is not mandatory for the possessive.  In fact, when  I was
doing my primary and tertiary education, the apostrophe was only used to
signify the contraction of (for example) "Clark is".  It was rarely, if
ever, used to signify "ownership".

Bruce.
