Well. I am truly sad about the cat. As an animal lover, they have touched a
raw nerve.

I had to get rid of mine when in an emergency move a few months ago,
still really sad about it. =/

?

The cat was killed and we sold a few bears?

Jason every aspect of the way you live your life is disgusting to me, and

<skid> If Melbourne were modelled more accurately, I wouldn't have
spun on the first lap both times we had our 1 on 1 duel there.

Is there an actual update?? The last update I can see at west-racing.net is
from July 16th 2002. Am I missing something?

> The cat was killed and we sold a few bears?

I think it refers to selling their house. That's a very brave move,
because they have yet to prove they have a big enough market for their
product even if it *is* the Holy Grail of racing sims.

Despite my hard, practical, cynical heart I still have my fingers &
toes crossed for Racing Legends. I never was a fan of the cat though...
nor any other cat for that matter. Dogs are a ***, GPL pet, cats
are more Need For Speed for people who are too lazy to have a *proper*
pet.

Andrew McP... allowing himself to briefly imagine what optimism might
be like :-)

Nah, cats are a lot smarter than dogs and in my experience, GPL drivers are
a lot smarter than NFS drivers <g>

Thanks doug.. makes me wonder what the .net was for, and how many people had
that one book marked instead of the .com and came to the assumption that
West bros' COMPLETELY abandoned the project..

To be blunt, I'll be quite happy just to have the simulation at a stage
where I can sit in that 49***pit and go "Vroooom-vrooom".
I don't care if it doesn't move an inch; that model is just too gorgeous for
words!

Bruce.

I'll give them a heads up and suggest an auto-forwarding front page at .net

I wonder if it was curiosity that killed it.
