A lot of people have given up on RL, so the cat was the most interesting
subject...<g>

And some of us don't care about the cat.

It looks really nice, but to have a racing sim you need to have about 5
other, equally detailed models. Ok, so whatever learning curve/tool making
went into this model can be used for the next one, but development is not
exactly bobbing along at a reassuring pace.

My Siamese is an indoor/outdoor cat.  I don't really have a choice.  He
knows how to use the dog door just as well as the Goldens do...

Retrievers ? I'm just about to get my second one .  It's been a long 3 years
since our first one died ....14 years old.
 Can't wait.

Who would have guessed that John"Hard Man" Simmons couldn't care less about
something as menial as a cat ?

I can see the pre-release blurb now..... "'Racing Legends'; the story of a
dead cat, a triple mortgage and a dream turned nightmare!"

Mmm... you know, after all their problems the Wests are probably in the
right mood now to make the Mother of All FPS games! It'd make Doom3
look tame, I'm sure.

You all have a better chance of "Hunting for Bambi" , than ever seeing the
Racing Legends fantasy. Hey lets send the West's some more money? Maybe that
would help?

More money? All they've cost me so far is a little disappointment. I'll
probably live ;-)

Enough people have said they want driver injuries included to make it a
possibility.   Chris sent me a link to the new version of 'Stair Dissmount'
called 'Truck Dissmount'

Perhaps he was trying to tell me something

:D

That's not funny. I fell out of a truck one time while I was in the Army. It
was an old Leyland recovery vehicle, about a 6'  climb up to the cab. I
missed the grab rail at the top and plummeted back down to the asphalt
below. Luckily I was still pissed from the night before, so the pain wasn't
felt straight away. Those "Dismount" demos/games are pretty damn accurate !
