when I try to run VROC.
I get a message 'Richedit10ansiwndproc' can't be found.
Am I missing some kind of VB file or something ?

I can't join any of the races, which renders VROC useless. Is there any old
news which sorts this out

Should show GPL 1.2.0.1 If it shows 0.0.0.0 then the path to gpl.exe is
incorrect

from http://www.vroc.net/ : "In WinVROC, go to the Options sheet and make
sure that the path to GPL is actually pointing to your GPL installation.
Even if you think it is, reselect it.
This is necessary because WinVROC has a bug. It requires a backslash on the
end of the path, like this: C:\SIERRA\GPL\ Unfortunately the default path
WinVROC puts in this field lacks this required backslash, causing much
confusion. "
I guess that helps. so try C:\program files\sierra\gpl\

Riched20.dll (along with riched32.dll) is in the Windows XP c:\WINDOWS\system32 folder. You may not have changed the view of all files, so cannot see it. Go into Windows Explorer, click on Tools/Folder Options and go into the View tab. Under Files and Folders at the top is a sub-directory "Hidden files and folders." Click on the radial button to the left of "Show hidden files and folders." Then go down three more lines and take the check mark out of the box to the left of "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended). You should now be able to find riched20.dll in the system32 folder.

Before renaming the file, since it is a system file and related to any
Office programs you may be running, you may want to try running System File
Checker from Start/Run by typing "SFC /scannow" (without quotes) to repair
the file first. Additional information about SFC is available in Windows
XP's Help and Support.

Vintook
nope, that's where mine is.
a/ Make sure GPL and WINVROC _don't_ use Windows 98 compatibilty mode.
b/ Make sure there is a driver active in GPL.
c/ Check if there is a file named MULTI.LYT in the GPL/LAYOUT folder.
If not, reinstall the GPL 1.2 patch.
