   trying to install new drivers for geforce 4 4400t1,old ones are 27.42
new ones 28.32  i install them and turn off anti-virus program and
reboot  but when i go to see if they are there they are not...i am
running windows xp...what am i doing wrong  thank you

  naw he's posted here before about sims.  Not a problem Rich.  Did you
follow the readme file exactly?  also before installing the new drivers, did
you search and delete all the old driver files.???  After changing to a vga
driver, use the find function to look up all programs starting with nv*.*
and delete them.  You could also look for a program called detonator
destroyer and let it delete some files as well.  When all those are gone,
follow the instructions included with the new drivers to update.  Good luck.

HI,

You didn't say how you went about changing the drivers, but the way
i've been told to do it is as follows :

1) Use a program called Detonator destroyer to remove you present
drivers, sorry don't know the download site.

2) reboot using vga display

3) use add new hardware if you have a list of files, or run the .exe
that was downloaded for your new drivers.

hope its some use, mark............
