Hi,
I've just installed Geforce 2 ti card Galaxy, after uninstalling Voodoo3
3000
i bought this card to use F1 2001,unfortunately when i use the F1 config.exe
it comes up with the same message as when i was using my Voodoo???? "no
directx 8 video adapters found",although i have directx 8 on my machine.
anyone have any suggestions please,i have installed win9x-21.83 drivers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also any good links to how to build or fix PC's

Thanks in advance

You may have old voodoo drivers and registry entries still active on your
pc.
Which version of windows are you using? 98SE I would go to start, run,
regedit.
Ctrl f and enter 3dfx, find. delete entry hit f3 do it again. You may have
to shut down regedit and do it a number of times before they are all deleted
Then do the same and enter glide. Do the same and enter voodoo.

When all finished reboot and the go to start, find. Type in 3dfx* and hit
find. Delete all entries. do the same for glide*, the Voodoo*. Put asterisks
after each word. Don't know if this will work in later version of windows.

Trying to help out. Been there with my V5 to gf3. Now all is well :o)

Go to your display properties , select settings tab then advanced then
adapters and change your adapter to a PCI Vga card and reboot . Then install
your drivers again and all should be fine . Geforce cards can be a little
fussy to install .
