CART vs ICR2?

by Tero Turtiain » Tue, 16 Dec 1997 04:00:00

Sorry if this has already been discussed to death but...

I just made a short visit to Sierras web-site and found out that Indy Car
Racing II is now called CART Racing. Has ICR2 been update to CART Racing
or have they only changed the name? And if there is something new, is there
a way to update my ICR2 to CART Racing?

Basically a repackaging deal to avoid the word "Indycar".  This version
has the DOS/Windows version sans the Mac version.  It is also supports
Rendition ala the basic port bundled with some Verite based video cards.
There is a nifty book that comes with it detailing the ins and outs of
the sim.
