Is Accolade's Classic F1 sim available anywhere ?
It was the best of its time.

I put in a lot of miles on that game, and it reminded me of
another...Accolade's "The Cycles", which featured many of the
same tracks, with improved graphics, but with 250cc and 500cc
motorcycles.

The sensation of the bike leaning into the turns was great!
Wipeouts were acceptable (you'd see the other drivers tumble
down the track!), and for its time, the sound and graphics
were great...too bad I gave it to my brother a couple of
years ago.

Live music is better; bumper stickers should be issued!

Hi All,
I spent many hours as well with Accolade game "The cycles" it was
a real hoot! Just for fun I reloaded it on my pc about 6 months ago, it
looks pretty primitive now, but it got me thinking about how I wish
Microprose had continued with their proposed Superbike racing sim, it
would be terrific I'm sure. Mabe if they startd now it could be released
in conjunction with GP2. :-)

I still have mine, but it refuses to work anymore.  It was a great
game.  Hey someone! How about a sequel????

Would depend a little on whether Crammond, or the GP Manager team
produced it perhaps.

But yes, a SuperBike sim.....or a 250 GP sim......THAT'd be _RACING_!!!

Here's hoping for a bit of the res*** shuffle at MP.

Cheers!

I'm sure that when Microsoft completes GP2, they will immediately start
full bore developement of the superbike sim.  This sim will be the
ultimate home *** expierience it will include:  NSR 500's,  Ducati
916's,  YZR 500's,  RC-45's,  RGV 500's,  ZX-7RR's,  NSR 250's,  YZR/TZR
250's,  everything that ever said Yoshimura on it,  CR 500's,  YZ 250's,
RM 125's,  and the KTM 50. Be sure to ask your great grandchildren to tell
you all about it.

Does anyone know where there is a working copy of the C64 version for
the PC emulators. I've downloaded two that don't work?
-Thanks
