Well, first of all only pit when it is to your benefit. I usually use
as a rule of thumb -- pit under yellow if the fuel is 1/2 or less. If
you are going to pit under the yellow, you must pit the first time the
pits are open.
You will lose positions to those who do not pit under the yellow. You
should only lose 1 or 2 to those who do pit.
If track position is more important than new tires and more fuel, stay
out on the track. This can be especially helpful on tracks which tend
to have more yellows.
One more thought: Hopefully you are the cause of the yellow, you could
be losing major time if your crew also has to repair damage!

I have disabled all other joystick ports on my system. I have
calibrated in WIndows, with Thrustmaster software, and in Nascar.
I have e-mailed, faxed, and posted to Diamond, but get no response. I
find it interesting that they bundled Nascar with the Edge 3D when it
has this kind of problem.
I have called Thrustmaster, and they said that they couldn't help. They
said they were getting a lot of calls, but that Diamond had not yet
sent them an Edge 3D card to test with.
I am no a computer guru, but I can follow directions. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Driving with the keyboard stinks!
