Crammond spent three (four?) years on this?! What the hell was he doing with
all that time? It's the same game! He added wet weather, higher resolution
graphics and 3D support, and a moving steering wheel (which can't be turned
off, dammit!). Some may doubt me, but I'm quite serious. I can't believe it
took him that long just to essentially patch up GP2 and re-release it as GP3. I
wasn't expecting much in the first place since I'd heard long ago that it was
just a patched GP2, but this is even worse than I could have imagined. There's
still no replay! Not even that dinky 20 second thing!

Ugh... Anyway I had preordered GP3 from GameStreet in the UK, but went ahead
and cancelled it. Not worth the money. Maybe in the future when the price hits
$10 or so a copy. My advice for you folks looking to step up from GP2 and don't
know if it's worth the money is check out the warez version first. It's from
CLASS so it may not necessarily be the final release version, but you know it's
not far off. If, on the other hand, this is your first F1 game then it's
probably worth the money. It is a good game, just not the major version upgrade
everyone anticipated.

Very true,im still in shock at this rubbish.
no tire temps
no tire pressure
no camber adjustments
basically same driving model as gp2
the car has no feel or inertia
shit graphics
I can count the pixels on the barriers
3 years out of date this game is
GPL makes this look like an 8 bit amiga game.
People who have no idea about car physics and sims will no doubt lap this
junk up

Sad

Ya know, wouldn't it be funny....

Perhaps G.C. had a "firm" release a good bit ago. So he and his
helpers get together and concoct an ugly and "supposedly" final
release. They even up the file dates to 7/13/00, to make it look
fresh, then send it out on the warez-express.

Maybe GC and company are ROTFLTAO.  I doubt it, but....<g>.

LOL! I have an idea: team Geoff Crammond, Dave Kaemmer and Dave Noonan together.
Crammond can do the graphics and gameplay, Kaemmer do the physics and car
modelling and Noonan do the tracks.

Oughta be good...
