Not sure if it's out yet, but has anyone tried the new TOCA Race
Driver? What are your thoughts?

Scroll back - a few days ago somebody did a review of "Aussie V8 Race
Driver" which is the same game. I think he had the PS2 version. AFAIK
that is the only version that has been released so far. Here in the US
I haven't seen any version of the game yet. When I asked a guy at
Electronics Boutique about availability, he checked his computer and
said the Xbox version had been pushed back to 1st qtr 2003. I would
presume the PC version would be pushed back also.

Toca Race Driver has not been released anywhere, on any platform.

Actually it is the same game. It has been released on Playstation 2 in
Australia as V8 Supercar Race Driver. You may be thinking of EA's V8
Challenge which is a different beast altogether.

Yeah V8 Supercar Race Driver is the one I meant, even though I didn't
remember the name properly. Rrevved probably got confused because I got
the title wrong. Uh-huh. ;o)

Been released here in the UK for PS2 for about two weeks now.

I found an online review of TOCA Race Driver. Apparently, the
storyline makes an interesting change to the genr, but the graphics
are supposed to be terrible - more like a PS1 title!
