Looks like a nice game, only problem is it runs like a slideshow on my pc
(P3 800 + Geforce 2) regardless of resolution and detail setting. I know
it's beta work, but is this just my system or has anyone made this game run
smoothly ?

Ran like it was frozen on my machine (1.3 T'bird; GF2 Ultra) too.  Worst
thing was controller and calibration routines: typically hopeless AND it
doesn't save settings from one session to next.  Deleted within 20 minutes.

Ditto. Don't bother to download.

Codemasters have distanced themselves from this demo and it should never
have been released. I wouldn't take anything for granted from this except
maybe that the doors and bonnet may fly open when you have an accident.

Hopefully Codies will have seen the very adverse comments and taken on board
the sort of target PC they need it to perform on. It was even a bit jumpy at
the start on my PC (P4 2.2 +GF4 4600). Anyway that happened with GPL and
look how well loved that is - except it didn't sell well initially of
course.

Andi.

detail and ran it at 800x600, only slowdowns were during contact with
the AI cars.
