SBK, best controller - Microsoft FF Wheel!

by Master of Magi » Sun, 26 Sep 1999 04:00:00

I've used several joysticks, and the keyboard for Superbike World
Championship, but today I discovered that NONE of them work as well as
the Microsoft Force Feedback wheel!

I never imaged that a wheel would be any good for a bike sim, but it
is.

Have any of you tried it?

I tried using my wheel and went back to a joystick. I wasn't able to set up the
wheel to make the sharp turns without turning the wheel the full range and then
I couldn't recover before the next turn or it was so sensentive that I couldn't
keep the bike on the track.

If you have a good profile setup, do me a huge favor and e-mail it to me.

then

If you want to use a wheel with SBK, d/load the "DXTweak" tool from the
logitech website!
With this tool you can reduce the action of the wheel according to your
taste.
Also great to get rid of the 5% dead zone...
