Sorry if this solution has been posted before, but I haven't seen it, so
here goes.
I just picked up the simulation, and had problems with huge sections of the
tracks blacked
out - not just track surface, but grass, hills, etc.
If you have a Creative Labs Voodoo 2, pick up the latest driver patch,
3dbvw95 at
their website. It's not in the "New Drivers" section; you have to look in
"Support/Drivers. Be sure to read the readme file carefully before
installing.

Hi,

I also had that problem but with the Diamond Monster 3D II Voodoo 2 card.  I
went out to their web site & d/l'ed the latest drivers, fixed it *instantly*.
If anyone else is having that problem w/the Monster, get the driver, I'm sure
it will fix it.

Regards,

Lee

The updated drivers from Diamond didn't help my Monster 3d (8mb).  Maybe
there was an installation problem?  On the first try the new
installation removed all info on the card requiring it to be set up
again from scratch.  Is there a particular file to check for after
installation?  The 3dfxv2 dll's were not installed.  Are they needed by
anything?

Turning off the track texture at least makes everything visible and 20+
framerate on a Pentium Pro (96 MB RAM).

Try unselecting 'Gouraud shading' in the graphic options.
