Need help. I cannot join any races. Every time I try I get "Connection timed
out...blah blah blah."

Any thoughts?

Well if you have multiple TCP/IP devices you probably need the 1.0.0.1
patch. Also if you have a dynamic IP assigned by DHCP you'll probably need
to enable the 'find network addresses another way' option using the
CONFIGURE button at the bottom of the main multiplayer screen. Then once
you have the patch installed, after clicking the sierra.com logo in the
login dialog box that appears be sure to pick the correct TCP/IP device in
its "Connect Via" drop-down list.

Thanks, I already ran the patch and didn't notice after running the configure
connection that I had two options. Tried the other connection and was
eventually able to find a race that I could get into. I think that before
running the patch both of these connections showed but neither worked....after
the patch I thought it was fixed because I could see races listed and never
thought to try the second connection.
