That's weird if they're not read-only, I don't know why it won't save,
maybe N3 itself
Try copying a few of the files (you can always move the original and
rename the copy to the same name) - you made sure they aren't
read-only, check also that they aren't system or hidden, (just
grabbin' straws there)
is it ALL of your .car files that won't save, or some do some don't -
send a few that won't save to someone and see if they will save on
their system (you can send a few to me if you want, I'll be glad to
see what they do on mine....)
