F1200 - Problems with graphics

by Jame » Mon, 03 Apr 2000 05:00:00

When I play F12000 I get problems with the graphics.  When I first played it
I got some strange flickering after I'd exited an in-car (such as testing or
race), gone back to the menu and then returned the car.

But the most annoying thing is that the menu thats supposed to appear when
you press Escape to allow you to exit the race, testing, etc. just appears a
blank grey see-through box.  Luckily, I figured out from the manual whats
supposed to be in this box, but its really annoying.

I have an Intel PIII 733 with 256Mb RAM and a Diamond Viper V770D.

Anyone else encountered these problems?  Is there an EASports patch
available to fix it or has anyone got any solution?

Sounds like a video card driver issue to me.  Got the latest?

I had these exact problems on my secondary machine. When I checked, I
found out that the machine was one version behind in the Nvidia
detonator drivers. When I upgraded these, everything worked fine...

yes I get the same flickering
at 1024 x 748 or something like that....

seems to be a software bug
but things are ok at 800 x 600
