F1 2002 Force Feedback

by Zen » Thu, 19 Sep 2002 10:03:24

Hi,

I searched around this group, and several websites, for several weeks, to
find out about how to improve the force feedback effects for F1 2002, which
I found less interesting than in F1 2001; maybe closer to reality (who
knows?), but less satisfying. I copied several settings, tried my own, but
nothing worked. That is, until I learned about how to turn on the maximum
physics setting in the PLR file. I brought the original setups back, and
there is what: what a revelation!

I am missing something, or would gamers benefit if programmers in the
knowing  would follow this group and answer these issues as they come up?

Cheers!

"Zen"
From time to time we get 'visitors' and all is well until somebody here
takes issue with the company line.  Then POOF!  the PR guys disappear.  You
can be sure tho that we are at least watched from time to time.  Eric Busch
of Papyrus is probably the MOST consistant and helpful and vocal of the
bunch.  Matt Jessick chimes in occaisionally as does Dave P from MGI.
The West brothers keep an ear to the ground here as does the LFS
fellows(from what I have seen posted here)
So do they pay attention?  I think so..  Do they actively participate?
Rarely...and That may be there loss.
