Sure, try reinstalling N4 and skip the no cd patch.

Hi:
Installed the N4 patch and no-cd without any problem. Works great
except I lost the FF effects!!! I'm using an act-labs force rs wheel.
Anybody has any suggestions.

Well, my problem is worse than yours <g>. I can no longer boot up N4!
I even uninstalled it and resinstalled it, skipped the patch and it
freezes on the N4 splash screen (or right after the movie).
I think it will run if I don't hook up my MS SW FF USB Wheel though!
And, somehow something put an unknown device under keyboards! I was
finally able to delete it and all seems well, but can't play N4 any
more!
This mess all started with the patch!
