I'm installling nascar 2 with great difficulty.

Through DOS the installation goes without a hitch.  Sound test works.
Program loads.

When I run N2 I get the starting video with audio.  When it finishes and
the game is to start the computer completely shuts down.  I mean
completely.  Not even ctrl,alt,del will even work.

Someone suggested that it was an audio problem and recommeded copying my
old sound.cfg file from NASCAR 1 to N2.  Did not help.

Any suggestions?

Ps. running a pentium Aptiva with 16 ram

Rick, if you've got smartdrive or emm386 loading in, you'll want to get
rid of them before you run NASCAR 2; it doesn't like them.  You might
also want to check your VESA configuration...what video card are you
using?  How are you booting to DOS?

Start the game with NASCAR2 instead of N2...It won't play the movie
at the beginning....It'll go right into the game....shouldn't lock up
then.
