Nascar ProDigital Wheel USB Problem

by John Roger » Sat, 29 Jan 2000 04:00:00

A friend of mine just installed this wheel.  When he went into the
control panel it said it wasn't connected.  He uninstalled the
software and now when he plugs it in the USB part does nothing.  We
tried to delete all the drivers and start over but I guess we are
missing something.

How do you get the USB to start over from scratch.  We have tried
different options and we only briefly got it working but after a
reboot it doesn't work again.  We are using an Epox ATX MB.

Thanks
John

Nascar ProDigital Wheel USB Problem

I just remove the USB Root Hub and the Intel 82371AB/EB PCI to USB Universal
Host Controller
from Device Manager and click refresh (or reboot). windows reinstalls it
fresh again. (have your windows cod ready if its not copied on your hard
drive) I have a USB joystick and a USB scanner that fail to get recognized
regularly.

Hope this helps.
