Can't Papy license out their physics model?

Given what looks like the end of their involvement in PC sims and
arguably the most convincing driving model in consumer-level software,
not to mention the yet-to-be-surpassed four-year-old multiplayer code,
wouldn't it be a shame to see it all go down the pan?

Can it be saved?

Couldn't it be used to quickly knock out, say, a single marque title
like F355 Challenge, Viper Racing, or whatever?

Can't Papy license out their physics model?

Can anyone lend me 1,000,000? :)

I do agree though :(.  Surely they could use the great engine to churn out
different types of racing with little additonal effort (and I think we would
be happy with this to be honest) - or even allow some of our talented
modding community to take the engine and make it into a GT sim (for
example).  I guess licencing is the pain.
