Not entirely.

The character was based on the then Earl of Huntingdon.

You will also have to provide a urine sample to verify that your first
statement isn't true.

I am from Vaasa too, which raises the average GPLRank Handicap of Vaasa
based GPL:ers (so far) to (-87.44 + 24.46) / 2 = -31.49.

Tom Pabs

R.A.S.ers location

I live in Petaluma, California (USA)....

It is in the North Bay Area, of San Francisco.....about 50 miles north of
the Golden Gate bridge, on the coastal peninsula.  This is also the area
where Sears Point Raceway is located...it is about 20 minutes, nearly due
east of my house.  Petaluma also has a small-town style dirt track....that
occasionally gets some of the World Of Outlaw teams and drivers, along with
the local "dirt track racers" who run there every Saturday night, almost
year round.  And, the World of Outlaw, Calistoga Race (one of the more
popular stops on the WoO tour) is about 40 minutes away.  Racing, of all
types, is very popular in this area, particularly road racing because of the
famous Sears Point Raceway, and Laguna Seca which is in Monterey,
California...about a two hour drive south of San Francisco (a three-hour
drive for me).

However, I moved to this location only about 3 years ago.  Prior to that, I
lived in Portland, Oregon, for 21 years.  I mention this, since many of my
online sim racings friends...whom I've known since the early TEN
days....still think I live in Portland.

I have been sim racing since about 1996.  Gosh, I just realized that was the
same time I got divorced.  Wonder if there was any correlation between the
two? .....lol.....

Thanks for starting this "string," Oz....its great to see where everyone is
from!

Tom Pabst

PS:  I suppose that "ymenard"....full name: Francois Menard......is going to
once again claim to be a French-speaking Canadian, from Montreal, Quebec.
He always does that....lol...  You guys all know he's totally "pulling our
legs"....right?  Well, maybe some of you new guys don't.  Francois.....isn't
from Quebec....he's from.... Little Rock, Arkansas and he's a total
"red-neck" geeker..... who likes to think he's a Frenchman!  He's such a
kidder!

Jari - your assignment:
Go over to Greger's house, and take a video of him driving GPL.  Learn as much
as you can, post the video on the binaries group, then report back here.  You
will be well rewarded for your efforts...

Eldred - only *partially* kidding...
