Interesting stuff, thanks for putting it up Eldred. I'm kinda
disappointed none of my fellow Cheeseheads got in on the thread. I know
they're out there.

Seconded. The only LAN event I've been to was back in the heady days of
Quake 1. Watching some of the best players at work was amazing... they
seemed to do everything the way I did it! Except they did it at *slightly*
different times. No help whatsoever :->

Hey, I'd like to see "New Slough" somwhere on this planet...

Or what about "New Cardiff"? That would be useful.

You're right, the Barhill International Raceway and Roadworks is but 5
minutes from my door.

The reason everything in America is called 'New' is because we tend to
shorten the
official names.  For example....what most of the world knows as "New
England" is
really "New and Improved England."  Same goes for "New & IMproved York," and
"New & Improved Jack City."
  Since you asked  :)

C'mon, you're trying to tell us that the US version of Jersey is New and
Improved?!?

Hehe...that guy is not how I picture Peter Pan. I thought Robin
Williams was good as on old Peter Pan though.

I'm sorry Thom j I take it all back. I've actually never been there, I'm
sure it's lovely...

At this point the political thing to do would be to say "Go Devils" but I
just can't - even though I don't like the Maple Leafs, they are the only
Canadian team left in the NHL playoffs so I *have* to cheer for them despite
myself. But when New Jersey takes them out in 4 games then I'll cheer for
your Devils, will that make up for it??
