F1RS need 3D card?

by Keith Meye » Wed, 04 Feb 1998 04:00:00

Does F1RS need a 3D card to run? I know the demo does..... I have a p166 -
how will performance be? I actually get acceptable performance in GP2 (with
enough detail to satisfy me), and CPR works surprisingly well. (Maybe the
MMX chip ?????)

Thanks,
Keith

You absolutely need a 4M Card.
A 3Dfx is much better but F1RS can work with

It seems to have problem with Matrox m3d

Yeah it has a problem! It won't work! As soon as I pulled that piece of junk
out of my machine and replaced it with a Pure 3D, the F1RS demo ran great, I
can't wait for the sim to hit the shelves here in So Cal.
