Should I buy a 3D card for F1RS

Hi there all,

waste) 32Mb EDO Ram and aSTB lightspeed videocard.

I'm planning on getting a 3D video card, but was wondering was it worth
it? Because of the cpu (Btw is the 200MMX that much better than my Pro,
or is it only better for games?), would I be better of waiting for a
year and updating the whole system or would a 3D card still make F1RS
(and other games) run like Indycar I runs on my current system?

Well the PII is a combo of the best of the Pro and the MMX series and the
thing smokes.   I have a rendition based card but I'm going to be upgrading
to some 3dfx card once the N2 patch is finished and recover from Christmas
and the addition of a satellite system at my house.....

A 3Dfx cards beats the fastest processor and gives the most beautiful
graphic effects! If you want to wait, wait for the 3Dfx Voodoo2 chipset. But
the coming year(s) there won't be a processor that will be able to beat the
3Dfx card as far as framerate and effects are concerned!

Yep - total agrement with below

My mate spent loads on new MMX200 & M/B.

  I spent 120 UKP on a Monster 3Dfx card & it made
my lowly P100 out perform the mmx200 (in 3Dfx games of course)

Best money I spent on my PC
