Hi All,
There have been a few questions about Papyrus and what we might be
doing next.  Here's some information for you.  We are working on IndyCar
2.0.  This will bring IndyCar up to the graphical quality of NASCAR.  It
will have things like SVGA, Better opponent AI, and other NASCAR features.
This version will be released around Christmas for DOS, Windows, and
Macintosh.  I can't get any more specific about game features but as soon
as I know more I will post it here.
We also plan on releasing NASCAR windows and NASCAR Macintosh at the
same time.

We are also working on a Track Expansion package for NASCAR Racing.
I can't get specific about the tracks included yet but I can say the
Daytona and Indianapolis WILL NOT be part of the package.  Sega holds the
exclusive rights to Daytona and will not let us do the track.  We tried to
get permission from Sega but the bigwigs in Japan would have none of it.
There are some other licensing issues with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway
which prevent us from doing a NASCAR version at this time.  When I have
more info on the tracks I will post it here.  If you have any development
questions, game issue questions, you can post them to me here if you want.
However, any tech support questions should be posted to our tech site

Sure I have a question, how about a track construction kit for both Indy and
Nascar.  Games like "Stunts" allow one to make tracks.  Yes, it is nice to
drive on those tracks we see each Sunday, but every once in awhile it is nice
to make your own.

Hi, Does Papyrus have any plans to develop a Formula 1 auto racing simulation
in SVGA to compete with and surpass Microprose's World Circuit and perhaps soon
to be World Circuit 2?  Am I sure there is a world wide market outside the USA
that would like to see such a product.  Thanks for any information you can
provide.
