Hi all!
Just an informal poll (and besides, I am curious).
Who is your sponsor in the above mentioned simulations and why did you choose
that Company?
I drive the Husqvarna/Busch Lola/Ford in IndyCar because my father sells
Huskies and orange, blue and white is a cool color scheme.
In NASCAR, I drive the Husqvarna Chevy because of the afore mentioned reasons.

In ICR I drive a totally custom car; basically grey with green-grey
wings, the Team Shark colors (Team Shark is the name used by me in
various online racing series, including IICC, LF3000, and the Net
Fantasy F1). Sponsorship decals are General DataComm (who provide my
net access), A&M records (Amy Grant, amongst others), PWL records (2
Unlimited),a "Shark Software" sign (pseudo-fictitious company), and the
"Eat My Kippers" logo of the (fictitious) Maldon Kipper Company.
There's also a big piccy of a Shark.

I carry the number 4 since it's my favorite number.  Dunno why.

You can check it out for yourself if you have the paintkit (or if
you just want to look at the PCX file) by looking for

ftp://didnt.doit.wisc.edu/PublicFiles/Racing/ICR/IICC/Team_logos/shar...

and also shark.bmp for the proper logo (at the same location).  There
are some other nice ICR cars there too.

I've also got the Team Shark colors for F1GP/GPeditor for Windows, if
anyone cares.

Cheers y'all,

I drive a Penske/Illmor/Marlboro in ICR because I'm a huge Al Jr. fan and
a Valvoline/Ford in Nascar because the car looks really nice.

<stuff deleted from couple places...>

Acme (the company from cartoons that makes things that go BOOM) fits
well in my accidents in ICR (how to cause pileup that collects 32 cars
in Michigan) and Nascar (I've tried Michigan and almost survived):

All blue car, three shade colour scheme and all decals also in blue.
Lola/Ford in Indycar as it seems to be good enough combination and
Chevy/Hoosier in Nascar.  Numbers 0 and 00 as they propably wont
conflict with any car sets in near future.

I drive the Ford Motorsport car, originally given to Rusty Wallace in
Nascar, only recolored to the real blue, white, and red Motorsport colors.
I drive this car because I have always been a fan of the blue oval, and in
particular the high performance Motorsport end of things.  This was a
really easy paint job, but I can't find one that fits me any better.

Well, the car isn't quite finished, but I've at least got the side panels
done.  I drive for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics,
because I'm an aerospace engineering student.

It's not something I should admit, but it makes a distinctive looking car
as it smashes around the track.  My two year old son bugging me as I tried
to race inspired me.  On top of that, my sponsor has lots of money to back
my efforts, and buy me body panels, I need a lot.  He was one of the top
five grossing entertainment figures in '94.  The car has purple side panels
with green spots, bright green hood, roof, deck, and stripe around the
bottom.  The sponsors head and name are on the hood in bright purple, and
the name slants down the rear quarter panels.   Yes, my sponsor is none
other than BARNEY the dinosaur!  It is pretty fun after crunching the front
end to have him staring at me through the windshield.  Hey, I'm sick, I know
it.  NASCAR only, I don't do Indy.  (I'm not THAT sick  8> )

I downloaded Tony's updated cars and switched my Valvoline car with Kenny
Schrader's Bud car.  I would have liked to take the #3 car from Dale but it's
more thrilling to be racing against him.  I choose the Bud car because I
figured I may as well be driving for a sponsor that I support so well! :)

Before TJ's update I raced for Hooters.  Of coarse I had to change the blue
oval to a bow tie back then.
