Daytona USA

I'm new to the newsgroup, and have noticed a lot of subject matter
dealing with the Daytona track at Daytona USA.  I work as a pit and
garage reporter for MRN Radio and have attended the site.

The model for the track does appear to be slightly different than the
current Nascar track model, but is essentially the same.  The track has
much more detail though than the other tracks in the game.  These
details include, a straight pit lane with pit logos for each team
(please include this if nothing else in Nascar 2), covered pit stalls,
and the boom camera at the exit of the pit lane used in the CBS
broadcast.  The track also features the asphalt chicane used in the 24
hour race on the backstetch.

Overall it is an awesome track to race on (they let you turn one
qualifying lap, my 191.748 did sit on the pole for the day :) and would
be worth the money in a track pack.  you can even run 3 wide through the
tri oval!!

I hope to post as much info as I can from the media side of the sport.
Please E-Mail me or post if you have any questions on the game, Daytona
USA or Nascar in general.

See You at the tracks.
