Hello,

Could someone help me. I don't know witch version of GPL i've got. I
thought i had the english version but the patch don't work. Then i tried
the US version, but it didn't work also. I've tried the deutch version,
and the worked a bit, but then it said that it was the wrong language.
All the text in GPL is english. I've got the original game.

And you're installing the patch with a "clean" gpl.exe from the CD? The
Gpl.exe has to be free of all patching and stuff, otherwise it won't work.

The UK version does a "CD-present-in-drive" check, the US version doesn't.

Perhaps you used a patch that modified GPL.exe. Try copying GPL.exe
off the CD (keep the old GPL.exe just incase) and try the US and UK
patches.
To determine US or UK, ehm, casema.net indicates Holland so that must
be the UK version; 99% sure.
If not, and you DO NOT need the CD while playing (and didn't use the
crack), it is the US version.

Thanks for your help, but i've tried this, and it doesn't work. I still get
the message GLBSSTUB, and then the patchprogram shut down. Your right about
the fact that i'm from Holland. It is not a crack.

Try copying your installation folder, then reinstalling from scratch.
Then apply the patch.
If it works, copy the players folder.
Don't know exactly where the Best-Laps are stored.

I don't know about you guys, but my copy of the GPL CD has the
"ENGLISH" written on it with letters 1/4" high.

TRUE!, I bought my version from Finland and it also has BIG letters in CD
saying it is ENGLISH version...;P
I would assume it is written in CD in every version? or is it? Randy?
