GPL: I can't believe this game is still so popular

Here we go again.  Just because computer golf is not interesting to you
doesn't mean it's not interesting to someone else.  Some say GPL is the best
racing simulator: some don't.  Who is to argue.

Might it not have been better to say, "computer golf is about as
interesting" to me "as computer landscaping"?

I enjoy computer golf.  You find it dull.  Some agree with you, while others
agree with me.  That's the way it goes.

I find this very annoying, Alan. Why must you assume that anyone else agrees
with you? Surely it would have been better to precede your post with "Here I
go again" ?

Can't stand golfing games myself.

I said that anyone else should agree with me?  I don't get what you mean.

Concept-- easy to understand, people like different games.  I like a game
for particular reasons.  You don't like the same game for particular
reasons.  Who is right?  Both of us.  Is that hard to understand?

Apparently you are, based on your 200 posts on the subject. =)

FWIW, I was teasing Francois.  I play PGA 2000 Titanium constantly.

You're also responding to a post I made at least a month ago and
taking it completely out of context of the thread.  Personally, I like
to reserve the phrase "here we go again" to something that is in the
process of occurring or has recently occurred.  In the context of
replying to something that was said over one month ago, it seems
strangely out of place.

If I'm making a subjective statement, the average-to-intelligent
person would assume that it was my opinion.  If it weren't my opinion,
why would I be offering it?

Let me offer an example, to clarify the point further:

There are a few pieces of information you need to properly process
this sentence:

A. the statement itself
B. the person making the statement

In this particular example, variable A = "Modern Formula One circuits
are shite." and variable B = "Jason Moyer" aka me aka the person
making the subjective statement contained within variable A.

The conclusion that can be logically drawn from this information is
that variable B, "Jason Moyer" aka me aka the person making this
statement, of sound mind and body hereby holds true the opinion of
variable A, that is, "Modern Formula One circuits are shite."

QED, Jason Moyer believes that modern formula one circuits are shite.

Class, are we all together on this one?

Welcome to planet earth.  May I please see your passport?
