I've just started using Sygate personal firewall.
Already I see winvroc doesn't work if I leave the wall up.
Does anyone have advice on whether I can configure it to leave it active
whilst I race online?

A little advice mate...

Take control of your computer and the applications installed on it.

A firewall needs configuring.....if it's too difficult for you change
firewall.

I have Norton 2002 myself,couldnt be easier.

Somehow you need to allow VROC and/or GPL access to these port ranges:

6970-6971
32766-32786
