was wondering if anyone was having trouble connecting to the sierra servers?
i keep getting this error message..

translating host addresses:
nr2003.m1.sierra.com:15101:could not translate this address
nr2003.m2.sierra.com:15101:could not translate this address
nr2003.m3.sierra.com:15101:could not translate this address
could not translate any addresses. maybe all the sierra servers are down, or
your internet connection isn't working properly at the moment?

Are you behind a router or Internet Sharing Connection that is giving you a
NAT based address?  I.E. 192.168.1.x ?

If so, on the Online Screen you need to hit the "Configure" button and check
the option that says something like "Connect using a different method".

Interesting.  I don't remember having to do anything special using a linksys
router...

Let me re-phrase that :)

I've always had to in the past versions, and have just done it out of habit
with NR2002 and NR2003 came out.  In fact, NR2003 came with it pre-selected,
which was a first.

Ah, ok.  Since it had been a while since I first logged on with N2K2, maybe I
forgot it was necessary.  So I never thought to do it in N2K3, and I didn't
have to...<g>
