WinVROC Question

by BRH » Tue, 18 Apr 2000 04:00:00

I tried my hand at VROC way back when there was no SpyBoy or WinVROC,
but haven't tried it since.

Now I'm interested in giving it a go again, but I'm having problems.  I
downloaded WinVROC 2.1 and installed the fix.  I get a race list, but
none of the races allow me to join.  In fact the join option is grayed
out on all of them.

I hope that this isn't too dumb of a question, but I can't find any
guidance anywhere on how to join a race.   I'm using a 56K dial-up
connetion.

Can someone shed some light on this for me?  I would appreciate any help
with this.

Make sure WinVroc knows where GPL is, even if the GPL directory looks

Did you highlight a race?  Did you put 209.53.20.177 for the value in
the vroc.ini in place of the url?  If this dont help, try asking in
vroc chat.
